Description
With the increased availability and capabilities of virtual reality technology, the ability to learn complex operation and maintenance tasks for various industries that involve multi-part devices from within a fully immersive environment is emerging as a safe, efficient and cost effective initial training approach. The challenge is to design effective interfaces and visualizations that enable the trainee to progressivly learn. In this early work, we evaluate the effectiveness of different visualization feedback methods in VR for guiding portray instructions within VR.
